I am eighteen, and my panic attacks began when I was eleven. I first diagnosed at age of four with Post Tramatic Syndrome, Ihad been phisically, emotionally and sexually abused. Then the attacks began, I felt like I was dying, can't breathe, fast heartrate, annd feeling of doom. My Dr. has me on Busbar, but it really does't help. I often feel very isolated, and afraid of having an attack. Hope someone else can see that allthough awful, i am still alive. I guess that is called hope.

You might want to see if there is a center for helping disabled students that could help you determine if you should tell your professors. You might need a medic allert bracelet for the seizures. I would allert the counselling center and a doctor at the student health center. They might be able to help you prevent a breakdown.
References :
Good idea.

Go to your local drug store pharmacy - ask the druggist's advice, or ask your Dr's advice. The medical alert tags/ bracelets are especially for people who are no able to communicate in an emergency situation.
Look at the brochures, and choose a company that keeps your info in an accessible database - so emergency personnel and hospital personnel can access your special needs and history.

At school do consult advice from the counseling center, and advise them of your conditions. They handle these types of disabilities daily, and will have helpful recommendations for you

I have a friend who is has seizures, and yet is able to live and work on her own because she has a working dog ( with the saddle-hand hold) with her everywhere she goes. This dog is wonderful, because he can warn her up to 20 minutes before the next seizure starts.

You will be fine, just realize that it is something that you have. Everybody has problems just because you are going through this it doesn't mean you can't be successful, you can and you will as long as you tell yourself that and believe in yourself. A therapist can help you along with these issues
References :
Are you on any type of medication for these conditions? I have anxiety attacks, my doctor has me taking Xanax and it helps control the attacks and the fear of the attacks. I don't know much about seizures but it would probably help to talk to a counselor at your school. They can tell you whether or not you should tell your professors.
References :
Seems to me you should be on some medication.
I am, I take Lexapro ( 2 -10 mgs pills).
It is an anti depressant, but it also approved for Anxiety.
Go see at the lexapro.com web site.
It had truly given me my life back. No more attacks, no more addicting medication.

I'd wear one for the seizures, since the bracelet is only for conditions that require special emergency attention.

I have crippling panic attacks, but I can still tell someone what is going on if they find me freaking out somewhere. Seizures are very different.
References :
You have the right approach - you meditate and practice yoga, and "talking" yourself out of panic attacks. Sometimes medication does help, at least you know there is a "safety net" out there for you.

However, if you choose not to take any medication, there are plenty of ways to cope with panic attacks. This include positive thoughts, breathing exercises, and visualization. It's a matter of controlling the onset of panic attacks so they don't get worse. There is a book that I read, called the Anxiety and Phobia Workbook by Edmund J. Bourne, that is tremendously helpful with improving my coping techniques. There is also a discussion forum that I can't live without, call Panic Survivor (www.panicsurvivor.com). There, you will find lots of people who suffer from panic attacks who share their knowledge, coping techniques and offer support. It is not supported by advertising, and it's a non-profit site.

There are tons of resources out there, and support groups to join. Remember, you are not alone.
References :
http://www.amazon.com/Anxiety-Phobia-Workbook-Fourth/dp/1572244135/ref=pd_bbs_sr_3?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1215383367&sr=8-3

i too suffered panic attacks, i was put on 10mg of citalopram, and given CBT (cognetive behavioral therapy) i couldnt praise it enough, it teaches you ways to break the panic down understand it and then... control it. it worked for me, i mean i really had had enough ... and if it wasnt for the CBT i doubt i'd even be here now... give it a try, talk tour doc or find out about private CBT. Good Luck xx
References :
You do not need to suffer. I suffered for years since my anxiety/panic was not diagnosed or discovered. My life is so different now......I take Lexapro........and it has evened out my life tremendously. If things get too rough, I add a tiny bit of Klonipin. I am so grateful for these meds. As I said, you do NOT need to suffer.
