What causes Panic Attacks?

Posted by admin on September 24th, 2008 and filed under panic attacks causes |

I am having major panic attacks. I've gotten them all my life but lately I'm really getting them. I'm on different meds for a back injury and I thought maybe it was because of that and stress but now I'm so scared that it may be something else. Do you know what usually causes them?

Panic attack are caused by anxiety, and stress. Go to a Doctor , he can help you.

As with most behavioral illnesses, the causes of panic attacks are many. Certainly there is evidence that the tendency to have panic attacks can sometimes be inherited. However, there is also evidence that panic may be a learned response and that the attacks can be initiated in otherwise healthy people simply given the right set of circumstances. Research into the causes of panic attacks is ongoing.

Stress and anxiety. It is the 'fight or flight' response. The more you have, the more you get. You have to break the cycle.
